An overview of the manga BELT OF BLACK CLOVER:
When Asta and Yuno were younger, they were abandoned at the same church.
Although they were always together, they also had a healthy sense of rivalry.
Their goal was crystal obvious since they swore solemnly to one another that one of them would one day become the magic king. As it turned out, Yuno was a prodigy in the magical arts, but Asta was unable to use magic and instead developed his physical might to make up for his lack of magical talent.
Yuno’s true strength is quickly revealed when she finds herself in a dangerous scenario shortly after obtaining a mysterious grimoire with a four-leaf clover instead of the more typical three-leaf clover.
He is successful in getting his hands on the “Black Clover” anti-magic grimoire.
The two individuals, who are rivals as well as friends, go on their journey with the same goal in mind.
A Japanese manga series by Yki Tabata is titled Black Clover (Japanese:, Hepburn: Burakku Kurb).
It has been serialized in Shueisha’s young adult manga magazine Weekly Shnen Jump since February 2015. Its episodes have been collected in 33 tankbon volumes as of November 2022. Asta, a little child who was born without any magical skills, serves as the story’s main character. Since it would seem that everyone in his world possesses some sort of magical power, this is a mystery to him. Asta is working with his fellow Black Bulls magicians to achieve his objective of becoming the next Wizard King.
The manga was first adapted into a unique video animation, created by Xebec Zwei and released in 2017. Pierrot’s adaptation of this story into an anime television series aired in Japan on TV Tokyo from October 2017 until March 2021. An animated film with the working title Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King is slated to premiere in Japanese theaters and on Netflix in March 2023.
The company that owns the license for the English-language manga in North America is Viz Media, and the organization that does so for the anime series is Crunchyroll.
Plot: Asta, a young orphan who was abandoned to grow up in an orphanage with another orphan named Yuno, is the series’ main character. Asta, who does not have access to magic, instead focuses on honing her physical prowess despite the fact that everyone has the capacity to harness mana in the form of magical power from birth. As a genius from birth, Yuno was born with incredible magical power and the capacity to exert control over wind magic.
Due to their mutual desire to one day succeed the present Wizard King as king of Clover Kingdom, the two young men developed into friendly rivals. The Wizard King has the second-highest position of power in the kingdom. Yuno obtains a legendary grimoire with four leaves that belonged to the first Wizard King of the land. Only the most powerful of magi are given access to the four-leaf grimoire, which is incredibly rare. Asta had no magic, but he managed to get his hands on a mysterious five-leaf grimoire. In addition to a bodyless member of the Devil race who uses unique anti-magic, this grimoire is rumored to include a pair of unusual elven swords. Then, he and Yuno join different Magic Knight squads as the initial step in realizing their objectives.
As Asta and Noelle Silva join the Black Bulls, Yuno joins the ranks of the Golden Dawn. The Black Bulls are commanded by Yami Sukehiro. They engage in a variety of adventures while also contending with the Eye of the Midnight Sun, a radical group whose leadership is being controlled by a Devil in order to wreak revenge on the Elves for an injustice perpetrated against them by the Clover Kingdom when it was initially founded. Following this, the Magic Knights engage in combat with the Dark Triad of the Spade Kingdom, during which Asta and Yuno learn about the effects that their individual Devils have had on their lives as well as the Dark Triad’s aim to fully materialize the Devils into their realm.
